I’m spending all my spare time studying for my Level 7 Masters in Aesthetic Medicine

I for one am so pleased to see the government at last plans to tighten up on the regulations around who can perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

At present, fully trained practitioners like myself who invest time and money in training and operate to the highest standards of health and hygiene are pressing for this to become one standard for the entire industry.

The government’s licensing scheme will ensure that those who offer specified procedures:

  • are suitably knowledgeable, trained and qualified

  • hold appropriate indemnity cover

  • operate from premises which meet the necessary standards of hygiene, infection control and cleanliness

Under the proposed scheme, which will be operated by local authorities in England, practitioners will need to be licensed to perform specific non-surgical cosmetic procedures and the premises from which they operate will also need to be licensed.

I have always invested in my aesthetic training and already hold a Level 5 diploma, the highest you can achieve to date. In preparation for the new regulations The Cosmopro Academy, which I train with, have created a new Level 7 diploma. The diploma is approved by the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) and is also recommended by Health Education England.

You can rest assured you’re in the very best hands when you come to me for a treatment.
