Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides have been around for a very long time, and are used extensively in the medical industry. For me, Polynucleotides are an exciting addition to the aesthetic industry – they’re the next generation of facial regeneration and rejuvenation and I can’t recommend them enough! With more than 40 years of scientific research and development behind them, this injectable serum really does offer some serious benefits and incredible, visible results.
The treatment is designed to promote cell turnover, improve skin elasticity and hydration, and heal sun-damaged skin. it’s great for fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea and all scarring. It’s an injectable skin treatment that aims to help repair tissue by stimulating fibroblasts, encouraging a 50% increase in cell turnover, improving elasticity, boosting collagen production and hydrating the skin whilst repairing and renewing.
Polynucleotides are particularly effective for women dealing with the effects that all stages of menopause have on their skin.
Polynucleotides are exceptionally versatile. They can be used to treat both body and face, including necks, décolletage, the delicate eye area, back of hands, abdomen, thighs, knees, arms and stretch marks across the body. They can even be used to increase the condition and growth of your hair!
If you are looking for a treatment that helps restore your youthful glow and firmness Polynucleotides are the answer.

Polynucleotide treatment uses DNA fragments extracted from salmon to bio-stimulate positive changes in the skin. Polynucleotide solution has the ability to send signals to the skin at a cellular level to bring about the actions we would like it to perform. When it’s injected into the skin it:
Increases cellular turnover leading to fresher looking skin
Increases production of elastin to reduce skin laxity
Improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Improves the micro-circulation to improve brightness
Reduces dark circles under the eyes
Keeps skin hydrated
Plumps the skin and reduces hollowness under the eyes

Avoid drinking any alcohol for 24 hours before treatment. Alcohol causes your blood vessels to dilate and widen increasing the risk of bruising.
Arrive with a clean face free of foundation. I will apply a numbing cream to the areas to be treated.
-
I recommend an initial course of treatments (usually 3 -4 depending on the condition of the skin) are carried out 2-3 weeks apart for optimum results. Followed by a treatment every 6 months to maintain the results.
-
You may feel a sharp scratch or stinging sensation, and feel discomfort as the product is injected.
-
You will likely have bumps that resemble bee stings at the injection sites and you may also have pin-pricks of blood following the treatment. As the polynucleotide is absorbed over the next few hours, the bumps will reduce.
Most people begin to see results after 3 weeks, but your skin will continue to improve with optimum results expected about 3 months after the course of treatment has been completed.
-
On average, results will last between 6-9 months. The longevity of the Polynucleotides depends on the individual patient, their age, lifestyle and skin type. I would recommend maintenance treatments every 6 months.
